Macy’s Parade Apps- Time Travel and Emoji Stickers

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

The Macy’s Parade is on my BUCKET LIST!  Someday I will be right there in New York enjoying all the glory, but for now, I’m in California! However, I was introduced to a fun way to watch the PARADE, on the Macy’s Time Traveler App.

This app has a very cool feature that allows you to go back in time and watch in the year 1965 and 1935.  The 3D aspect of this app is awesome.  When I showed my daughter she was in awe, she was looking on how people dressed and wore their hair.

Now we can’t forget STICKERS!  Does everyone love sending stickers on their phones right?  I know I do, not sure if my friends enjoy all my goofiness but I find it fun.  Yesterday, after downloading the Macy’s Parade Sticker App I sent a couple of stickers out to my buddies, even sent one to Twitter.  It is super easy to share from the app.

If you don’t believe me that you need to DOWNLOAD these apps, then please read:

This November, America’s favorite holiday tradition will mark a milestone anniversary, once again kicking-off the holidays with its signature brand of magical entertainment. On Thursday, November 24th, the 90th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® will march down the streets of New York City as millions celebrate with family and friends. The unparalleled spectacle is set to enthrall more than 3.5 million spectators lining the streets of Manhattan and more than 50 million viewers on television, with a host of giant character balloons, dazzling floats, the nation’s best marching bands and performance groups, celebrities, and the official entrance of the one-and-only Santa Claus.

Macy’s is launching a Macy’s Time Traveler App and a set of emojis to help you celebrate one of the nations greatest traditions! The Macy’s Time Traveler app will let users interact with the parade in the comfort of their own homes, or in their local Macy’s stores. They can find and capture balloons in their local Macy’s stores through virtual reality and make a customized parade of their own, as well as learn about the history of the Macy’s Parade and take a vintage selfie. And for those in New York, they’ll be able to view what the parade looked like in previous decades while in Herald Square. This fully rendered, 3D virtual reality environment will allow users to see what the buildings of Herald Square looked like in the 30s, 60s, or 80s.

On top of that, Macy’s has provided a fun way to communicate with your friends and family whether they’re near or far. Their new emojis are a fun way to continue your already festive conversations. Excited for some turkey? There’s an emoji for that. Ready to see your favorite characters as floats? Express it with emojis!

The Macy’s Time Traveler app is an amazing live-action virtual reality APP! Plus when you visit Macy’s stores you can collect ballons to customized your parade.  Use the app at home, with a headset, or on location at Macy’s Herald Square, in New York City, for a truly astounding experience!

Best thing is the APPS are FREE! So why not- download and have fun with the family- Family TIME!

How awesome is this?! I am DEFINITELY going to be trying this out, as we don't have cable this year to watch the parade! This looks so neat!
