Operating a business, whether it’s big or small, can end up being a tough task. Since it is a new year, you would want to make sure that your business is getting noticed. With that being said, there is no better way of getting noticed than through online social media. Instagram, Twitter, or even Facebook are some of the strongest social media sites, but the thing is, that might not be enough for you to get noticed. Well, a new book called, “Influencer Marketing for Dummies,” might be just what you need in order to change that. Written by Cat Lincoln, Stefania Pomponi, and Kristy Sammis, this book can guide you in the right direction in order to get the best out of your presence online. I received a free copy of Influencer Marketing for Dummies and love it!
Influencer Marketing For Dummies
The information within this book states that Influencer Marketing is a unique form of both art and science. Teaches you that engaging the people who are influential online. The purpose of this was to share brand messaging with the audience the content is directed too. Working with people who do:
- Online Blogging
- Social Media Channels
- And More!
This all had one goal, and that was to present the product in front of the primary audiences. Influencer Marketing for Dummies is a book that’s worth every penny.
My Personal Thoughts
Influencer Marketing for Dummies is full of great material, and below I have a couple of favorite sections that I found relevant and helpful:
- Chapter 4 Part 2: Understanding Why You Need To Pay Influencers – When it comes to not compensating your influencers, it sends a clear message that they don’t want to hear. If you want to be successful, you have to prove you are worthy. You have to make sure that you are willing to engage, if not then influencers will end up backing away. This is causing you to lose business, which could hurt you in the end.
- Chapter 6 Part 3: Impressions – The impressions you make are the most important factor of them all. You have to consider the overall quality of their content and engagement level of the audiences they target. For bloggers, the numbers tell a lot, but not all marketers go off the numbers. Even if your numbers are good, you still have to impress them enough to match their terms. Making sure your impressions are perfect, can make things easier for you.
As a blogger myself, I want to get my material out there to attract more attention. The book Influencer Marketing for Dummies gave me some valuable perspective about getting the attention of the marketers who would want me as an influencer. With this information, it will be easier draw the attention and get my material noticed more than before. This book has opened my eyes on important aspects when it comes to the marketers. This could be a great start to improving what I do best.
