Hilary’s Root Veggie Burger
Oh my can I say a delicious healthy burger? I love these! Turnip the beets! It is a delicious crunchy millet-based veggie burger that is filled with organic root vegetables with a kick of mustard. Another great thing about these patties is that you can eat them on a bun just like a “normal” burger. Or you can eat them as a side dish or even break them up and top off your salad.
2 T + 1 teaspoon coconut oil
1⁄2 c red pepper, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
2 c fresh or frozen corn
2 c fresh or frozen lima beans
1 t coconut oil
2 pk Hilary’s Root Veggie Burgers
1 avocado, diced
1/2 c Hilary’s Ranch Chia Dressing
3 green onions, thinly sliced
First, prepare the succotash by melting 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil over medium heat in a large saute pan. Cook the red pepper and garlic until tender about 3 minutes. Stir in corn, lima beans and 1/4 cup of water. Cover and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes. Stir in another 1 Tablespoon of coconut oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in a saute pan. Cook frozen Hilary’s Root Veggie Burgers for 3 minutes on each side. To assemble this tasty brunch menu item, place the cooked root veggie burger on a plate. Then top with succotash, avocado, Hilary’s Ranch Chia Dressing, and green onions.

Because this burger is free of all common food allergens and artificial ingredients. Customers at her restaurant, Local Burger, named it “World’s Best” and it just kinda stuck. While, it is a certified organic veggie burger and it IS the original and still the best-selling burger.
Ultimate Vegan Breakfast Sandwich
2 T coconut oil
3 slices tempeh bacon
1 Hilary’s World’s Best Veggie Burger
2 gluten-free frozen waffles (we recommend Van’s brand)
2 T WayFare Cheddar
1/8 c fresh spinach
Heat 2 T oil in pan over medium-high heat. Cook tempeh bacon and veggie burger in pan until browned and heated through on both sides. While these are cooking, toast waffles in standard toaster. Spread Wayfare Cheddar on one side of waffle. Place Hilary’s World’s Best Veggie Burger on top of cheese spread and tempeh on top of burger. Top with baby spinach and the other waffle. You can add any veggies you want to make the ultimate sandwich!
