1 box Old London ® Rosemary & Olive Oil Melba Toasts
1 jar prepared pasta sauce
1 onion (chopped)
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1 garlic clove (minced)
1 cup fresh basil leaves (chopped)
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese (grated and separated)
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook onions in olive oil in a 2-qt. saucepan over moderate heat, stirring until onions are softened. Add garlic and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add pasta sauce and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 15 minutes. Fold in chopped fresh basil. Spread 1/2 cup sauce in 8 x 8-inch baking dish and top sauce with a layer of Melba Toast Rosemary & Olive Oil. Sprinkle with Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Top with a layer of Melba Toast Rosemary & Olive Oil. Continuing layering with sauce, Mozzarella, Parmesan, and Melba Toasts. Finish by topping with sauce. Bake lasagna covered with foil, in middle of oven 30 minutes. Remove foil and sprinkle evenly with 1/2 cup Mozzarella. Bake until bubbling and cheese is melted, about 10 minutes more.
1 tbsp your favorite pizza sauce (onto each cracker)
Mozzarella cheese (sprinkled onto each cracker)
1 slice pepperoni (on each cracker)
basil (for garnish)
Old London® Garlic & Herb Bagel Chips
Arrange Bagel Chips Garlic side-by-side on a cooking tray. Spoon on approximately 1 Tbsp. of your favorite pizza sauce onto each cracker. Sprinkle each with shredded Mozzarella cheese and one pepperoni slice. Garnish with fresh, tiny diced basil. Bake attentively at 350°F until cheese becomes slightly melted (1-2 minutes). Ovens may vary.
And for a desert I am going to make this
Lemon Meringue Tart
1 Tbsp. lemon zest (finely grated)
2/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 cup unsalted butter (cut into Tbsp. sized pieces)
For lemon curd: Whisk together zest, lemon juice, sugar and eggs in a 2-qt. heavy saucepan. Add butter all at once and cook over moderately low heat, whisking constantly, until curd is thick enough to hold marks of whisk and first bubbles appear on surface, about 10 minutes. Immediately pour curd through a fine sieve into a bowl, then chill, covered.
This years get together will not only be fun but so much healthier, cant wait to try these delicious recipe out.
