Items You Should Keep In Your Glove Compartment

A few decades ago, gloves were a must-have item that most of the drivers wore while driving. So, car manufacturers built glove compartments where they could keep their gloves handy. But today, after so many years, cars have gone through numerous design changes, but glove compartments are still there which you can use to keep several useful items, if not gloves. Here is a list of items that you should keep in your car’s glove compartments:

  • Important contact numbers: Write your emergency contact numbers on a paper, and keep it in your glove compartment. While today, we all keep our numbers in our mobile phones, what you will do if your mobile phone gets wet, stolen or damaged.
  • Flashlight: Keep a flashlight and new batteries in this compartment, which can come as a boon in case of an emergency at night. Check the batteries frequently to check if they are working.
  • Hand sanitizer: You may need to do some cleaning inside your car. While you are on a long trip, you may need to use facilities that may not be that clean. Having a hand sanitizer in your glove compartment will protect you against any germs.
