Are you looking for the perfect piece of jewelry for the love of your life? How about giving her the moon? Harold Jewelry’s Moonphase Bar Necklace is simple, yet elegant, and an amazing gift!
I have always loved the beauty of the full moon. Now as an Autism parent I actually follow the phases to track my son’s behaviors. So when Harold Jewelry reached out to me and asked if I’d like to see their Moonphase Necklace, I was excited.
Their Moonphase jewelry displays five of the moon’s phases in the order in which they appear to us all. They show, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Full, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent. After each new moon comes the Waxing Crescent. During this phase, the brighter part of the moon is expanding, but is less than half. Next is the First Quarter, which is when the moon is at a 90 degree angle with the Earth and sun. Many call this the “half-moon.” The Full Moon is next and happens when the moon, Earth, and sun are aligned. Last Quarter comes next, and like the First Quarter, only half of the moon is visible. Lastly, the necklace shows the Waning Crescent, where the visible portion of the moon is slowly decreasing.
Simple yet beautiful
This necklace is perfect for anyone who loves the moon, or is just looking for something different and fashionable. Made of sterling silver, the lunar phases are hand embossed on the bar. Each one is wire wrapped, and some have delicate beads to add some flair. Even the clasps are hand-made, and all of this is done at the Harold Jewelry Studio on Phoenix, Arizona.
The first thing I noticed was the fantastic patina on this necklace. Even better is that it will get more of a patina over time. You can use a polishing cloth to simply take it back to its original luster. It’s also nickel and lead free. The bar measures two inches long, and is .40 inch wide. The chain measures a perfect eighteen inches.
