Here is a delicious recipe. I made this one using my new Lagostina Martellata Hammered Copper Pastaiola.
Parmesan Garlic Spaghetti
6 Garlic cloves, minced
1 Cup milk
½ Cup grated parmesan cheese
2 Tbsps olive oil
2 Tbsps butter
7 oz. spaghetti
1 Tsp ground pepper
2 Tsps salt
1 Tbsp cornstarch
3 Bay leaves
For the sauce
In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add the milk, olive oil, and garlic.
Cook for five minutes.
Add the parmesan cheese, butter, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Stir for 3 minutes.
Reduce to medium heat and let it cook for 10 minutes.
For the pasta
In a pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil and add the bay leaves.
Place and cook the spaghetti following the packaging instructions (5-10 minutes)
Drain the water and discard the bay leaves.
Leave the spaghetti in the pot and pour the sauce into it.
Mix well and divide into serving bowls.
Add a couple of pepper cracks and some more parmesan cheese to taste.
Serve and enjoy.
For a gluten free dish simply use a gluten free pasta
