Get Informed With Informucate

With both of my children in school, they are bound to hear about the current events and what is happening around the world. When they come home and talk to me about those events, I want to make sure I know what they are talking about. I want to be able to discuss it with them. However, there are times when I am just not able to stay caught up with the news. Thankfully, that is where Informucate comes into play! Informucate is a website that has the top 12 news stories per day, all written in 200 words or less and they only take a few minutes to read! If I put aside five minutes a day to read the newest articles added each day, I should be able to discuss the news with my children when they bring it up. I hate when I have no idea what they are talking about!

Something else that I really like about the website is that they have a list of national holidays and the meaning behind them. When my kids are out of school due to a holiday, I want them to know why they are actually out of school, and the significance of that day. The information comes in the form of video – which, in my opinion, is a genius approach at helping others to learn about things. Videos are more likely to keep someone interested in learning! I highly recommend you check out Informucate and all that they have to offer. It only takes a few minutes!
