Product Description ~
The GasCheck is a brand new, revolutionary device that will change our ability to determine how much propane gas is in tank. About the size of a pen, the GasCheck is an ultrasonic devices that measures the liquid level of propane in a tank. To operate, individuals firmly press the rubberized tip of the device against the outer wall of a tank at a 90 degree angle.
Using the same technology that doctors use for ultrasounds, the GasCheck shoots an electronic beam into a propane tank. A portion of this signal is returned and allows the GasCheck to determine whether or not there is liquid propane at that level of the tank. The GasCheck then signals to users whether there is propane at that level or not via a LED light. Green means there is liquid propane at that level and red signifies that there is not.
GasCheck is about the size of a pen. Easy to hold on to and use.Just make sure that you are holding the GasCheck at a 90 degree angle against the tank, in an area that is free from rust.

We have a couple of propane tanks laying around. We never know how much propane is left when we need it and never know how long it will last when we want to cook outside. We were able to find a tank that still had propane in it by using the Gascheck which saved us the time instead of running to get another. You can take this with you on picnics and camping, what a great way to see how much propane you have left while your away.
I think the only con we found was there is no shut off on the GasCheck unit so when the bottom gets pushed in the unit it lights up and it can drain the battery much faster. But you can always remove the batteries till you use it the next time.
This will be great to have on hand, I know we will be using the GasCheck whenever we want to cook on the grill, and whenever we need to see if the tank needs filling.
