Ever have those days where you are pressed for time and really have to get out the door to work, run errands or meet friends? How many times do you find yourself short on time but still feel the need to wash your hair before you face the world? I find myself there more often than I care to admit, myself.
Batiste Dry Shampoo to the rescue! I have tried dry shampoos before, and while I like them for quick little pick-me-ups for my hair when short on time, I don’t always like the scent of them very much (not that it’s overpowering or anything). And some of them, I have noticed, leave my hair feeling great at first but as time goes on I can feel the product turning to powder and running my fingers through my hair feels — well, less than nice.
So, for those reasons, I was excited to try a brand of dry shampoo that I had not heard of before. Batiste Dry Shampoo was been voted the #1 dry shampoo in the UK. And just look at the fun designs on the cans. I think they are very pretty!
After trying these two scents of Batiste, I have to say I really like them better than any other brand I have previously tried. The spray feels light on the base of my hair when applied so I don’t feel (or see) a ton of heavy product being dispensed into my hair. And the scents are great without being overpowering. For everyday use I would prefer Batiste’s Clean & Classic scent in the green/yellow can, but for a fun choice from time to time the Floral & Fruity Blush scent in the floral patterned can would be great, too. There are at least seven different scents available, so this product will appeal to a wide variety of people. I’d like to try the coconut & exotic tropical and sassy & daring wild scents next!
With full-size and a mini-size option you can use this product at home or on the go. The mini size would be great for traveling as well as for tucking into your purse or regular everyday bag for work or the gym.
Check out the company’s website (link at end of post) for information about the different scents available and where to buy Batiste products as well as some really great videos to show you how to achieve different hair styles using their products.
I wanted to spray some on my hand to show what the product looks like once dispensed. But, there was literally nothing to see! The product sprays completely clear and dissipates very quickly, another plus in my book when it comes to hair products such as these.
I am enjoying them very much. I plan to also include these in my daughters’ Christmas stockings this year — yes, they will make great stocking stuffers for girls and boys alike. You heard me. My son even tried the clean and classic scent one morning before school when he’d forgotten to shower the night before. He liked it and asked if I’d buy him a can of it.
Aside from stocking stuffers, these would be great for college students, busy moms with young kids, those who have hectic work schedules, really anyone because who is not pressed for time on occasion but still wants to face the world with a fresh look?
Batiste Dry Shampoo is available at many retailers such as Amazon, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Walmart, Target, Drugstore.com, Ulta, Urban Outfitters, Charlotte Russe and Nordstrom.
