Freeweight Training? I will be honest I had never heard of it. But, since my husband and I have decided to start living a healthier lifestyle I have become more familiar with different types of exercises. The more I read about Freeweight Training the more I realize this is what I need in my life at this moment. Since we are older it is harder to tighten our bodies up as quickly as we once were able to do.
The trick is that this book helps you understand that my movements affect different muscles in different ways. I have discovered that I can hurt my work out just as much as I can help it. I just have to understand what I am doing.
Freeweight Training Anatomy is full of color photos that layout the exercises – step by step! I love this book and the exercises are actually something that I can see myself starting and continuing to do. It helps me target specific muscles while using my dumbbells, barbells and I am working up to kettlebells.
I have what I affectionately call “granny flaps” I have lost almost 70lbs and as I age they just aren’t snapping back into shape. This amazing book has shown me specific exercises for this area!.
The illustrations help me so much! I am more of a visual person, so the pictures help me so much more than just reading the exercise. I have been doing these for almost a month now and I can honestly say I am seeing a difference.
These exercises are simple yet so very effective. They are easy to add to your daily exercise routine. Regardless if you are trying to lose weight or just build up your muscle mass or just to simplify your routine. THIS is the book for you! I love it and it has helped me and I know you will enjoy and have good results also. Good luck!
