Try Fake Bake Sunless Tanner for a streak free golden glow!
Fake Bake has a whole set of sunless tanning options that really seem to have a way of giving you the perfect glow with out streaking. There are different products for you to choose from to make sure you have the right tan for you.
Every time I think about using a sunless tanner, I get nervous. I get visions of my skin turning carrot orange or streaking all over my legs and arms. We’ve all been there when you have to wear long sleeves or pants just to cover up a horrible fake tan. I have especially had a hard time with areas around my wrists or ankles. I have tried quite a few sunless tanners over the years and I have gradually just gone away from using them at all because of bad experiences. When I found out about Fake Bake, I was curious to try them out and see if it was different.
1. Amplify daily gradual tan was the first product from Fake Bake that I tried. I started out applying once a day after my shower. After the first two days, I really didn’t see much a difference. After the third and fourth day a nice color developed. I was very pleased with this gradual tan lotion since it did not create streaks. Also, around my ankles and wrists it was not darker and it blended in very well. Most of all I really liked the scent. It has a hint of coconut and tropical scent that is not over powering at all.
2. Flawless Self-tan liquid was the second product that I tried. I was curious to see if it really worked as well as the daily gradual tan. It comes with a glove that you use to help apply. I definitely noticed the color the first time I used it. I would have to say it is by far the darkest of the three products. It did not streak which was great to see, but I really feel like I need more practice applying an even coat. Again, the smell on this was very mild and similar to the tropical scent of the gradual tan.
3. Ready to Wear 5 Minute Mousse was the final product I tried since it is the fastest process with the quickest results. Unlike the gradual tan lotion that took days to develop or the Flawless Self-tan that took over an hour to apply, I really liked the 5 minute mousse. The color was noticeable right away but it wasn’t as dark as the Flawless. I would put it as a light/medium color that is perfect for everyday. Again the scent was wonderful. I have had other tanning lotions that the smell alone made me stop using it and that was not the case with Fake Bake. The tropical scent is mild even after it has been on your skin. I felt that it took a little longer than 5 minutes before I was sure it was completely dry.
Over all I was impressed with Fake Bake and it many products that offer a nice sunless tan. I would use this again since I have seen it doesn’t streak or smell bad.
