Holiday Gift Guide: Transform Your Skin With Coffee.

If anyone follows my writing–whether it’s my articles on here, or my own person blog–I’m constantly mentioning coffee. It probably makes me a sick, twisted cliche… an atypical writer who lives off of caffeine… but I can’t help it. Coffee is just so good. I’m sad to admit that I’m probably (definitely) addicted.

A while back, however, I was introduced to the idea that coffee could be used for more than just drinking. As a matter of fact, it could be used as a scrub to exfoliate skin. Originally, I was using straight up coffee and lathering my skin with it because somebody told me it softens skin, reduces the appearance of stretch marks, and prevents cellulite. That was extremely messy, and was probably more of a pain than it was worth. However, I could still see the benefits from the coffee… my skin was instantly smoother and brighter as promised. I simply stopped the use because it was irritating to clean up afterwards!

Given the opportunity to experiment with LaBosh Coffee Scrub, I was beyond curious. My previous experiences using coffee, like I mentioned, were extremely messy and rather aggravating. The benefits were obviously there, but it became such a hassle that I stopped. Upon trying this product, I was wondering if this could be an alternative to get maximum benefits without having to clean my entire shower afterwards.

As it turned out, LaBash Coffee Scrub was excellent to use, and even better than traditional coffee because of its additional, natural ingredients. It wasn’t messy compared to what I’d been used to, and it lathered onto my skin really well. I took a a quarter-sized amount, worked the product into my legs, stomach, and arms with slow, circular motions, and then thoroughly rinsed. It exfoliated really well, and my skin was significantly softer and brighter afterwards. It also smelled lovely and made my skin smooth, toning the imperfections.

Here’s the science behind the product, and why it really works. Coffee is filled with antioxidants. It’s anti-inflammatory, and the caffeine captivates extra moisture from your skin, which is why there is an instantaneous result. The coffee removes the dead cells so your skin is fresh and hydrated. It improves the elasticity of your skin, and also shields it from harmful UV rays.

The three other main ingredients in the scrub are avocado, vitamin E, and sea salt. The avocado oil nourishes your skin and encourages the growth of healthy, new skin cells while rehabilitating existing ones. Vitamin E, just like the coffee, is filled with antioxidants and combats dryness and lines. Additionally, it promotes the prevention of cellular damage and is another anti-inflammatory. Lastly, sea salt locks down the exfoliation by removing all of the dry skin while being an all-natural antiseptic and another anti-inflammatory.

Overall, this product contains natural ingredients, is paraben free, and is vegan. It’s only $24.00, and definitely worth the buy. I am completely obsessed with this product and use it once a week. After showering, I moisturize my skin with lotion, and it has never been so soft, smooth, and healthy. My arms and legs glow from the benefits it provides.

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to brighten up their complexion, and have radiating skin! It’s a great gift for women who love to relax, and anyone invested in health/beauty. Additionally, there’s currently a promotion going on… 20% off of the coffee scrub if you use the coupon code HOLIDAY… valid until December 31st.
