What you are looking for a new printer, what are the things you look for most? Do you want an all in one or do you want certain other things. When I look for any printer I look for all the things it can do. Not only do I want one to print, scan , copy, fax if at all possible, I also look at the quality of the pictures or the copy I need done . So when I was contacted by Epson I said yes! I was so excited to receive the Epson XP-950, my printer had just stopped working, so this came at the right time.
Epson Expression Photo XP-950 Small-in-One Printer does everything but fax and that’s fine with me. To print all your documents, the XP-950 has several ways to load media. The bottom tray holds up to legal size paper. The one above is for photo paper up to 5 x 7 inches and is independent of other media inputs. Just above the photo tray is a slot for the CD tray, which is only used when printing on that media. The back of the printer also has a slot to load up to 11″ x 17″ paper a sheet at a time.
The printer comes with a power cord and the six ink cartridges. It does not include a USB cable or Ethernet cable. Although the device can connect to a computer using cables, it’s apparent that it was designed to be used in a WiFi environment. All set-up can be done wireless.

Compared to several other similarly priced photo printers, the XP-950 turned in some fast scores on the tests I ran. Text looked crisp and well-formed, and embedded photos and graphics came out detailed and accurately colored. True to the Epson brand, this Small-in-One simply prints good-looking business documents, photos and so much more! This small sized printer will perfectly fit households and small offices that has a limited desk space. It is good for occasional printing of JPEG images and gets the scanning and copying tasks done for office documents as well as a useful range of wireless controls.
It also churns out exceptional-looking photographs. Similar to Canon’s 6-ink printers, this Epson 6-ink photo printer’s photographs are at least as good as drug store-quality, and nearly as good as some of the much more expensive professional photo printers out there.
Over all I would recommend this printer if you are looking for everyday use. The picture quality looks great and I am absolutely happy with it.
