Are you a tea lover? Maybe someone on your holiday gift list is a tea drinker. Either way, Teaspressa™ has the perfect gift ideas. Read on to learn more.
Teaspressa™ – Tea inspired by coffee!
Simply put, Teaspressa™ is gourmet tea, that’s prepared like coffee. It has the same consistency as coffee, so I bet some coffee drinkers wouldn’t know the difference. (It also has similar caffeine amounts too.) With Teaspressa, tea drinkers can now enjoy gourmet tea drinks and blends, just like their friends do with coffee.
Gourmet tea was born….
Founder Allison DeVane is obsessed with coffee, latte art, and tea, so what better person to create a unique tea experience! She started out as a devout coffee lover, but due to headaches, couldn’t tolerate her favorite drink. So she turned to tea, and thus Teaspressa™ was born. (I feel awful that coffee gave her headaches, but to be honest, Teaspressa™ is so amazing, and without her headaches, may not have been born! Sorry Allison, but thank you!)
Made with Special Pressure Extraction
Teaspressa™ teas are made with a special pressure extraction to produce concentrated tea shots, much like espresso. The tea base can then be used to make tasty tea drinks that compare to gourmet coffee drinks. The best part, you can do this in the comfort of your own home. You can even do it in your jammies! (Mmmm, think Christmas morning, and yummy gourmet tea!)
How to make Teaspressa™
Okay, first of all you need a Moka Pot. (You can get one from Teaspressa™ HERE.) Fill the bottom with water. Mine holds ten ounces, so I heat water in my Keurig, then pour it in my Moka Pot. (Also, this helps the tea brew faster.) Then put in the blend basket, and fill with one tablespoon of tea. Screw together the top of the Moka Pot and put it on the stove. (If you’re using a gas stove, make sure not to have the handle over the heat.) Your tea will begin to brew and fill the Moka Pot. You’ll hear it. As soon as it stops, pour into your cup, and enjoy how you like it. Here’s a video on how to make the perfect drink with your Moka Pot.
Personally, I like my tea a bit weaker, so I use two ounces of plain water and then add my ten ounces of Teaspressa™ tea. It’s perfect for me! Then I add my sugar and creamer, and voila fantastic tea! I love it! I haven’t used my Keurig for anything other than hot water since I got my Teaspressa set!
