When I was offered the chance to try out the Emmi-Dent 6 Ultrasonic Toothbrush Pro Series, I jumped at the chance. My son is autistic and has a super hard time brushing his teeth. It took YEARS to find a toothpaste he could tolerate. Finding him the perfect toothbrush has been even harder.
As soon as we got it, we opened it up and plugged it in to charge. It came with two heads so two people can use it. Liam couldn’t wait to try it out! The toothpaste it came with was a bit sweet, and he actually liked it! The brush itself is quiet. You can barely feel it moving, so it didn’t assault Liam sensory wise. He actually ASKS to brush is teeth now!
It came with a Calculus Remover too. (A plaque remover) Liam LOVES using that tool! It works great! Our kit also came with those little tablets that you chew and they show the plaque left on your teeth. (Remember getting those at school as a kid?) Liam enjoyed them as much as we did as kids. I broke them in half for him so he was able to use them 4 times. He keeps asking for more, so I guess I need to look into getting some. Anything to keep him interested in cleaning his chompers!
I love this toothbrush as well. My teeth feel as though I have just come from a cleaning at the dentist. My sister and hubby noticed how white my teeth were getting, right away. It has even whitened the cap on my front tooth! I can’t wait to go in for my 6 month cleaning, and see what my dentist has to say. No more suffering through plaque scraping, that’s for sure!
Are you wondering how it works? Well, in the head of the brush is a super tiny, ultrasonic micro chip that produces 94 MILLION ultrasonic (air oscillations) impulses per minute. They transmit through the bristles to your teeth. These impulses are able to penetrate teeth and gums, killing bacteria and germs where bristles can’t reach. The nano bubbles in the provided tooth paste, are 1000 times smaller than normal toothpaste. This makes them able to get in between your teeth and gums, where normal toothpaste can’t get.
If you want to try one for yourself, then definitely head to their website and check it out!
