Are you looking for a new fun hobby to get into this fall? Have you ever considered making your own jewelry? Here’s a fun DIY bracelet craft!

You will need:

When I am making my own bracelets, I prefer to use supplies such as wholesale jewelry charms by Teeda because they have a huge selection at a great price!

The first thing you will need to do is open your jump rings. In case you are not familiar with these, they are the little wire circles that hold charms on bracelets. There are a few ways to open them, but I prefer to use my needle nose pliers. It is very important that you open it ‘crooked’ and not pry them open because this will keep the shape better. If you pry it open instead of opening it to the side (or crooked) the circle will no longer be a circle.

DIY Jewelry CraftWith your charm on the jump ring, use the pliers to attach the jump ring on to your bracelet chain and close the jump ring around a ring on the chain. You just need to push the two ends of the jump ring together using your needle nose pliers. Continue to do this until you have the amount of charms you want, and you are done! There is a certain type of happiness I feel after creating my own jewelry. It is always one-of-a-kind and no one else will have an exact same one. You cannot buy it in a store, unless I start mass-producing them and selling them! I just love having something that is original. I feel proud when I can make something and show off my talent! Have you ever made your own jewelry before?

Let me know which charms are your favorites!

Since my boys are sports fans, I'd have to say I'm partial to the sports charms. That's my way of supporting my boys through a fun piece of jewelry.

Great DIY, thanks for sharing!
