Couple months ago our electric bill went up $100 more so we went into that “How can we cut costs” mode and lighting was number one on our list. We want to switch out the regular light bulbs for energy-efficient ones but I found out that would cost a lot of money. In my search I found EvoBrite’s LED 60 Watt Light Bulbs on Amazon.com for under $10.00. It solved my money issue and I don’t mind paying $10 a light bulb if it’s going to save money for years. When I saw these same light bulbs in the store they were over $20. We bought a couple off Amazon to see if we like them before we switch all light bulbs out.
Here is what I found out:
- Green Energy Saving LED Bulbs
- Environmentally friendly
- 60 watt equivalent
- Shatter resistant
- 25,000 to 50,000 hour average life span
- Warm White
- 240 degree lighting angle
EvoBrite’s has a much warmer color and I like that a lot. I put one by my bed and let me tell you I’m not having difficult reading at night. It is just bright enough for me to read. I even dropped this light bulb to try to see if it broke and it didn’t! Shatter proof!
Last month’s bill did go down a little bit but we didn’t replace all light bulbs so wait for next month when we are going to replace them all with Evobrite Light Bulbs!
Energy efficient light bulbs are my favorite because I like to save energy, money, and not have to change the bulbs as frequently. I like EvoBrite’s bulbs because they look like traditional light bulbs. Some efficient bulbs look like fluorescents, we have many lights and lamps in the house. The rounded and traditional look of the EvoBrite bulb is more attractive to me
These are great and work fine. The bulb comes with a shatter resistant protector and lights up my room beautifully. The fact that it is shatter resistant makes it even better. They quality of light is great and the wattage is even less than CFL’s and definitely lower than incandescent bulbs.
While many LED bulbs are now dimmable, not all of them are and not all of them dim in the same way. Since LEDs consume such a low-wattage, many types of dimmer do not function with LED in the same way that they do with high wattage.
