Chewy Toy For Pets

Does you adorable puppy keep chewing on your slippers? It is an indication that your pet needs some chewy toys. Why spend money, when you can prepare a lovely chewy toy for your pets amusement at home. You can actually turn you abandoned 1 liter soda bottle into a toy. Pets love the crunchy noise these bottles make and they will spend some real good time enjoying. However, remember to remove the cap and also label, plastic rings, if any to prevent any kind of choking hazards.

Dispensers

Packaging bottles can be used to prepare a string dispenser or bag. Any empty bottle makes just the perfect space for throwing away grocery bags. All you need to do is chop the bottom and also top ends of bottle. You can then mount the bottle with help of screws, upside down and then inside a closet or kitchen cabinet. You need to place washers, just under screw heads which will prevent them from pulling the plastic. You can use this newly made space to fill it with all recycled bags. Remember, you just need to remove air from it.

Store Sugar

If you generally buy 5 pound bag of sugar, you need to store it well. A great idea is to pour this sugar, in your 1 gallon bottle. Ensure that the bottle is clean and dry when you are pouring the sugar. Sugar will not dry and you can easily handle it as you wish.

Cooler Cooling

A great way to ensure your cooler does not lose its cool as you are on the road. All you need to do is filling up some plastic jugs with juice or water and keep them in freezer, to be used when you are transporting food in the cooler. This is a great way which ensures that the food keeps cold. Another benefit is that, as the juice or water cools down, you can have it too, as it melts. You can also keep a number of frozen bottles or jugs in freezer, if you have some additional space. In fact, if your freezer is full, it uses lesser energy and it will help you save electricity bill also.

Gardening

If you are looking for a convenient and simple way to mark different flowers, herbs or vegetables in your garden, plastic bottles are going to help you. All you need to do is cut neat vertical strips from water bottles or plastic jugs, if you have. You need to have these strips of same width, as the seed packets, but their length should be double. You need to fold every such strip on an empty packet, so that it is well protected from different elements. You will have to staple this to a chopstick or a strong stick.

Road Kits

Plastic bottles can be reused as emergency road kits in winter. Next time, if you stuck on the road in a terrible storm, you will have help in hand. All you need to do is fill a few bottles with sand and keep it in your car. Thus, as you start, you can sprinkle this sand on the surface of the road. This will help in adding some traction, just under the wheels, as you start moving on slippery roads. This is a great way to reuse all old bottles.

Use for emergency road kit in winter

Don’t get stuck in your car the next time a surprise winter storm hits. Keep a couple of clean gallon (3.7-liter) jugs with handles filled with sand or kitty litter in the trunk of your car. Then you’ll be prepared to sprinkle the material on the road surface to add traction under your wheels when you need to get moving on a slippery road. The handle makes it easier to pour them.
