Designs To Color takes me back to my childhood. Me and my granny would sit and color for hours. This has always been something that I have carried into my adult life. It is a great stress reliever and really helps to clear my head on my worst days. While I have always bought coloring books now I can purchase adult coloring books. Nothing against the kids coloring books but sometimes you really want something more.
Betty Schaffner was so far ahead of her time. While she was a registered nurse she was also a housewife and mother of four. In the late 1950’s she would doodle while talking on the phone. Then her kids would grab them and color them. Me and my best friend used to do that in middle school. We would make it a competition of who could make the biggest most intricate design. Well just like me and my BFF her kids ask for bigger doodles to color.
Designs To Color Artwork
Her kids wanted the doodles to color themselves but to also share with their friends. Who knew something that me and my BFF used to do could be turned into this amazing coloring book. I love these doodles that can be turned into framable works of art.
I am so glad these are back and just in time for the holidays. Betty Schaffner believes that people of all ages have an innate imagination and some type of artistic talent. So she has created some of the most amazing designs that will entice everyone. So grab yourself one and a few extra for holiday gifts and stocking stuffers. These coloring books are perfect for the entire family. Grab your crayons and coloring pencils and get ready to relax and enjoy!
