As many of you know I love to crochet . I have been crocheting for years and it is so relaxing and I love all the different things you can make . It brings joy to me to make something for someone and see them smile . Several of my crochet friends they crochet hats and blankets for the NICU. NICU stands for neonatal intensive care unit which is for sick babies from birth or premature babies which my son was . I have to thought about doing what my friends do and donating them to the NICU that my son was in. But that is a later post .

I love to crochet animals and I have recently crocheted a guinea pig. The pattern that i fallowed was very easy . I don’t know where it came from , my friend sent me the pattern. You can find tones of patterns from Ravrely, Pinterest, Moogly. This little guy worked up in about an hour. It took me a little longer but that was because I was watching a season of Bones lol. I love to watch TV and crochet. My guinea pig worked up so easy I used white and black yarn (red heart). I used a f size hook and my scissors and I also had a safety nose and two safety eyes. You can find the safety eyes and safety nose at my local hobby store but I have found way better deals on safety eyes and safety noses on line at etsy, ebay. If you go to order from either of those two places make sure to read the product description that way you will know if they come with the washers for the backs. I credit that bit of info to my best friend Peggy Reimer. If you would like to try a guinea pi pattern head to one of the above sites and check out the ones they have . If i can find out where this pattern came from I will post a link and give proper recognition. If you try a guinea pig pattern and want to share please post it below so we can see your awesome pig’s.
