Join Us in Celebrating World Coconut Day

My house functions on coconuts. Namely coconut oil, but I do love me some fresh coconut. Did you know that tomorrow is World Coconut Day? In honor of that, let’s talk all things coconut!

Join Us in Celebrating World Coconut Day

My very first tastes of coconut came when I was just a girl. Every Easter the bunny would put chocolate coconut “bird’s nests” in our baskets. They were the best! Every Christmas when we would gather as a family to make our favorite cutout cookies, mom would die coconut flakes so we could give the Angels hair. They were so yummy!

Fast forward twenty years, and I discovered Coconut Oil. “Oh my lanta!” I jokingly refer to this oil as the nectar of the Gods. I use it in cooking and baking. I feed it to my fur girls for their coats. I use it in homemade lotions, scrubs, and so much more. My go-to is Coconut Oil from Carrington Farms. It’s all I will use.

To say I love coconut is an understatement. So I was stoked to celebrate this holiday with you.

Let’s Talk Coconut Foods

My son’s love squeeze pouches. I love the convenience of them. My eldest son’s current favorite is Raspberry Coconut Oatmeal Squeeze from Munk Pack. These pouches are jam-packed with red, ripe raspberries, oatmeal and coconut shreds. They’re certified Gluten Free, Vegan, Non- GMO, and Kosher as well. My son tosses a couple in his lunch box every day!

For more sweetness, he tosses in a pack of Coconut White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies from Munk Pack. Each bite of cookie give you coconut flakes, certified vegan white chocolate, and macadamia nuts. He loves them. I love that he’s eating healthy.

Coconut Thirst Quenchers

One of my son’s most favorite beverages is Sparkling Ice. Particularly their Coconut Pineapple flavor. He’s been drinking that all summer long. I love seeing him drink Sparkling Ice instead of so much soda (like his father.)

Brooklyn Organics has some super tasty Coconut Ginger Ale. If you love all things coconut, you’re going to love this stuff! Their soda pops are all USDA Certified Organic.

Now it’s YOUR turn! What is your favorite food, drink, or cooking product with coconut?

I received this product to facilitate my post. All opinions are my own!
