Castle Rock

Well I returned from Branson, MO on Monday and what a wonderful time we had. I was invited by the Branson CVB to Explore Branson last week with a group of wonderful bloggers and we had a blast. I want to start out by telling you about the resort we stayed in. It was called Castle Rock Resort and Water Park.

Ronnie and I traveled from South Carolina to Branson, MO. It is a 15 hour trip by car and we took our time driving and stopped over night. When we reached the Castle Rock Resort we were so tired and happy to finally get there. This water-park and resort is located in the heart of Branson, Missouri and surrounded by so many attractions. The resort has plenty of parking, comfortable rooms and the best thing of all for families, the Indoor Water Park.

Our room was very comfortable, we had a King size bed, a kiddie cove, featuring a bunk bed and television in the upper corner, a mini refrigerator, 32” flat screen TV, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Everything that we could need was in the room, except the WIFI, now if you needed to get on the internet you would need to sit downstairs in the lobby.

Now the best part of the resort is the water-park, granted we didn’t get to use it while we were there, we were so busy Exploring Branson, but it is absolutely wonderful to be able to use it if you wanted to. Castle Rock is a 30,000 sq ft indoor and 10,000 sq ft outdoor water-park. It features 150,000 gallons of splashtacular fun with two 500 gallon dumping buckets, multiple indoor and outdoor kiddie pools with rain showers and waterfalls and more! Enjoy a swim in their indoor lap pool. Loop and dip through their 2 large three-story thrill slides, kick back for a ride on the lazy river, play on themed water slides or relax on the multilevel sun deck. It is all so much fun!

They also have a small game room. This is really great for the families that love to play arcade games, or if your children had enough of the water park they could go spend some time in the game room. Castle Rock also has a on site restaurant called the Tower Grill, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
