I was given the chance to review a prepaid Visa card through Card.com . When I got to the site I couldn’t believe all the different designs they had. I did choose the Autism Awareness card for my son Devon , I am always looking to get the word out about Autism, and I think this is a great way to do just that.
Some important things to know about Card.com is that their debit cards are NOT gift cards. The debit card is linked to your social security number and is an alternate form of banking. Their fees are EXTREMELY competitive! Their only fee is a $5.95 monthly fee, but there’s no activation, reloading or ATM fees! Card.com offers direct deposit and Bill Pay (also free). There are no overdraft fees and it’s accepted anywhere Visa is accepted!
Once I got the card, it was SUPER simple to activate. You can either call, or go online. I opted to activate my card online and it took less than 2 minutes! It lets you pick your own password and PIN, so it’s easy to remember. I have used my card at a number of stores and I never had a problem with it.
If your needing a credit card, but don’t have the credit to get one, this is a system that may be of interest for you. If you are unable to get a checking account, yet need a place to have your paycheck direct deposited for easy free access to your money, then this might be what you need.
To get your own Visa debit card, head over to Card.com and start by picking one of their awesome designs!
