With such seemingly limitless innovations in technology, making us almost “super-human” or “more than human” are we at risk of losing our humanity?

The National Geographic Channel has a new series called Breakthrough. More than a human is the next episode and takes us into the world of technology in its rare form. Today’s world is more about the latest things, in the world today.

Science has advanced more challenging and what it means to be a human. With today’s advancements, the future, enhancing the human body with technology could lead to the next stage of our evolution. What will the future hold when it comes, to making the human body look better.

The world has come so far already, with the advancements of the pacemaker, and human limbs many changes have been made for the better. Having a fake limb has come so far, now you can move your hand and foot. These are the many changes that are happening in today’s world. But of the future imagine what people will be able to do.

Scientific advancements are challenging the concept of what it means to be human and enhancing the human body with technology could lead to the next stage of our evolution. The big question of the episode is whether these kinds of advancements make us more than human and whether we risk becoming cyborgs that are essentially detached from our humanity.

Having the ability to help a paralysed person walk, with the new technology of todays world.
