If your kids or grandkids are as big of animal lovers as mine are. You will LOVE Atlas of Animal Adventures. It is so colorful and nicely written. The cover has a nice soft feel, very durable and made to last through hours and years of reading. My grandkids absolutely love this book. They love all of the different pictures and animals.
Atlas of Animal Adventures Map
Everything about this map is amazing. When we are reading and looking through the book. We make up different adventures. Pretending we are world travelers. And we need to learn about the animals of the land where we are heading.
We got a wall sized map and are pinning where we have “traveled” so far. This way we can keep up with our adventures. And all of the animals we have encountered.
Sardines of South Africa
So far, this has been my grandsons favorite animals and journey. I like reading with them because they are learning without realizing it. Plus mamaw has learned a few new things. The boys really love the ocean and the fish. So this part explains about the chain of life. We have figured out what the fish eat and what eats the fish.
Peacocks of India
While us girls love the peacocks. That has been our favorite so far. But we haven’t gotten through the entire book. This book has put together a collection of some of nature’s most unmissable events that happen between the two poles. We have learned about migrations, herculean habits and some really extraordinary behaviours.
I really like how the table of contents break down the different areas of the world. This helps us determine which direction we are going on that day. With a total of 30 different animals we are having so much fun. The illustrations are amazing and show exactly where the animals live and then gives you so much information about each animal.
