Trust me when I say I’ve tried every eyeliner under the sun. In the seventh grade, I declared dark eye makeup would be my signature look, and since then it’s been an endless search for the best product to keep my eyes raccoon-like. After my initial ages of childhood makeup (I’m talking blue eyeliner and blue mascara), I began experimenting with Elf. Make Up Forever Aqua Eyes eyeliner is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am a very active person that endures a lot of sweat, tears, and drama, between crying over math tests and running from track practice to soccer practice (haha). I also appreciate bold, dark makeup, and having it stay in tact throughout the events of the day.
Now with Aqua Eyes, when I’m out swimming, skiing, minding my own business or whatever, I often get compliments on my makeup and the fact that it never runs. I can play an entire soccer game in the rain and my winged cat-eye will still be sharp enough to fly away. Though Aqua Eyes is rather pricey at $19.00, it typically lasts me 3 to 5 months and is definitely worth the investment.
Aqua Eyes is a soft, crayon eyeliner with a smooth application. It is waterproof (which means you can wear it to the beach and the pool), and smudge-proof (which means hello flawless waterline). There are 26 different colors, ranging from my favorite, matte black, to unique colors such as pink champagne and yellow. This product is also fragrance free. I recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, durable eyeliner.
