One thing I have learned this year is I need to APPRECIATE my husband more. My husband and I have been having issues for awhile, but everything came to a head couple weeks ago that made us reevaluate what the heck we were doing. We were trying to hurt each other in ways that were not healthy. Hurting your spouse is not what being married is all about so we had to take a step back and realize what the heck we were doing to each other and ourselves.
We talked about what we want from each other, and it mainly came down to intimacy but in different ways. My husband wants more sex, and I want more LOVE. I don’t want to have sex every time he touches me, and that is how he made me feel. I made him feel like I didn’t want sex, which isn’t the case, I do!
We have been together for 17 years and so some of that AWWW I WANT YOU BAD has gone away. With kids and jobs in the way, we barely have time to ourselves alone. So this month we are making a commitment to each other to explore and give each other what we want in the bedroom!
My husband says we have our own 50 Shades of Grey- BOX! We are loving and aprecating each other a lot more with our toys- we brought the fun back into the room. Kids don’t like all the time we spend in the room now. They will get over it.
Adam and Eve is the best place to get some toys for the bedroom. We are adding some adventure and excitement to help with our boring sex life and show each other how much we appreciate our love.
The month of April is going to be ALL ABOUT US- appreciating each other in the bedroom!
