We just got the coolest toy to test out. As soon as I took it out of the box, and my son saw what it was, he was ready to use it! Read on to learn more about the Air Pogo Jumper by Geospace®.
Blast from the past, but cooler
Do you remember pogo balls in the eighties? If you didn’t get the pleasure of playing on one, then you missed out! Not to worry, you can try the Air Pogo Jumper, and either see what you missed, or relive your grade school playground days.
Air Pogo is better
As an adult that grew up playing with a similar but older version of this, I like Geospace’s much better. I like how the disk is more of an oblong shape, and even has bumps on the disk, to keep your kids feet in place. (Growing up, ours were a circle, and there wasn’t much in the way of grip, so staying on was often quite hard.)
Once you put the figure eight shaped ball in the center of the disk, and inflate it, you’re ready for some fun. (By the way, it even comes with an air pump!) Your kid will love bouncing away the day on their Air Pogo Jumper. They’ll be playing, while also working on their balance and coordination. It also helps them to build their strength and endurance as well.
What did we think?
My boy struggles with many athletic toys and games due to his sensory processing disorder, however, he LOVES his Geospace Air Pogo Jumper. He got right on and started hopping around. He and the neighbor boy love to take turns timing each other and trying to see who can stay on the longest. Their current record is five minutes.
I’m impressed that he has been using it as much as he has. Also that it holds his (short) attention span for so long. This is the first physically active toy I have seen him take so much interest in, since his introduction to exercise balls. I guess, if you think about it, the Air Pogo Jumper is like an exercise ball that you can stand on.
Where to buy
I guarantee your kids will love this, so head to Geospace’s website and get them one (or two!) They’ll have a blast, and you’ll feel good knowing that they’re being physically active. You can also connect with Geospace® via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.
