Does your favorite guy like to cook or bake? The Beekman 1802 Farm Pantry line was created by Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge, aka “The Fabulous Beekman Boys.” Launched on November 1, 2015, this 48-product line brings all that is good about small farms to your very own kitchen. Josh and Brent call it “Farm to Shelf” and “National/Local.” Some of their items are seasonal because that’s how nature and animals are naturally in terms of production.
The Beekman 1802 Farm Pantry line is currently available in nearly 1,500 Target Stores.
A percentage of all profits of Beekman 1802 Farm Pantry items is used to provide aid to small American farmers in need of financial assistance.
I’m a little bummed that I didn’t get a hold of the Harvest Season Turkey Brine Mix in time for Thanksgiving. But, there’s always Christmas, right? I can’t wait to try this brine mix out. Look at those great herbs and spices! And, bonus, it’s non-GMO.
Cider & Sage Leaf Braising Sauce is certified gluten-free and is made with small farm ingredients. I used this product when I made chicken for dinner the other night. I just poured some of it over some chicken breasts and baked them in the sauce. I will have to get this item to have on-hand in the pantry again because my husband and oldest daughter absolutely love it! The closest Target store to me that carries Beekman 1802 Farm Pantry products is in a larger city about 45 minutes away from my home. But, I do travel there on occasion to do some shopping, so the next time I go I will make it a point to look for this new line of pantry items.
Made from small farm ingredients and with no added preservatives, artificial flavors or colors, the Cranberry Orange Scone Mix is a treat that I can get behind because my youngest daughter has recently become much more involved in meal prep and the nutritional value of the foods we prepare in our home. She doesn’t eat meat, but she does still like sweets and she declared the scones a winner!
One of my favorite memories of childhood is my Mom’s coffee cake, hot and fresh out of the oven. Oh, it was so good. It was my favorite weekend treat. I made it for my own kids when they were small, but they just didn’t make the same connection to it that I had. I grew up in a house where we had everything we needed (mostly) but money was tight. Treats were just that, a treat. My kids have grown up in an upper middle-class home where they had everything they needed and most of what they’ve wanted. So, treats just aren’t such a rare thing for them.
But, I still remember… and Beekman 1802 Farm Pantry Sour Cream Coffee Cake Crumble Cake Mix created a delicious treat that I myself haven’t made in too long a time. It was nostalgic and beautiful. Thank You, Beekman!
Check out your local Target store to see if they carry Beekman 1802 products. Additionally, they can be bought at the company’s website and some products can be purchased at the Target website. The company features many other great products besides food including furniture, beauty items, home & garden items, clothing and more.
