Ways I’m Going to Live Healthier in 2017

2017 is going to be my year to get healthier. There are several things I need to do to get on the right track, but I’m going to focus on items that will help me live healthier. 

  1. SLEEP:  This not a myth people!  We all have heard this before..” You must get 8 hrs of sleep”. Parents, at school, doctors, and friends have told me this many times. Sleeping is hard sometimes, but I need to try harder. I have a bedtime now, and I get up early, but I get 8hrs of sleep.  The body and mind need this time of rest. 
  2. DRINK WATER: Another fact that has been around forever so it must work…drink water! This is so hard for me, but if I have cool cup and fruit for my water, then I’m good. Need to drink at least eight eight-ounce glasses of water each day. It does a body good- I get headaches if I don’t drink water. 
  3. EXERCISE:  If you exercise you know how good it makes you feel.  I used to workout, and then I let life take over so now I’m getting back into it.  I feel better about myself and how I look when I workout.  This is a very important factor in living a healthier life! Right now I walk every day, but down the road, I want to get into the gym. 
  4. SELF-LOVE: I need to realize my worth, it is a lot.  I need to give myself more credit and stop putting myself down.  I need to have more happy thoughts and not get down on myself.  Letting go of the past is something I had to do to start on my path of self-love.
