We have a big family and when ever they get together, we have a get together when I am able to get to Jersey and see everyone. The one thing my family loves to drink is wine, always have been big wine and beer drinkers.
Having looked into get some wine for the family when we go this year, I decided to check out the Franklin Mint Merchants and see what they had.
They have a great selection of different wines and all for a afortable price. My husband and I have both been wine taasting and enjoyed it, so we figured we could add this to our little collection of wines.
They sent us The wines included Firestarter, Hyatt Vineyards Riesling, Fachada and LeBerinto. We wanted to try at least one of them before putting it away for the family. The one we did try was the firestarter.
Firestarter is great the taste is different
She who is only a little thing at first, but thereafter grows until she strides the earth with her head striking heaven.
Hyatt Vineyards can showcase exactly what makes the Riesling of the area so superb. Instantly attractive, the nose is full of fruit, with peach and apricot taking the lead. These flavors continue on the palate, met by the hallmark stone-fruit notes of Riesling. These luscious flavors meet a perfect balance between acidity and sugar to ensure this wine, simply put, stuns. As with many great Rieslings, this wine can be paired beautifully with spicy Asian cuisine, soft cheeses or all by itself, as a great aperitif. This is one we love and the taste is like peach we feel. My family would love this when they get to taste it.
This Sauvignon Blanc starts off with a gentle perfume of honeysuckle and jasmine. Leading to a mouth of Asian pear and honeydew melon, finishing with a balanced acidity of green grass and kiwi fruit
